     Mary Wesson was born before 1721 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.² She married Nathaniel Ball, son of Nathaniel Ball and Sarah Baker, on 25 August 1737 at Concord, Middlesex Co., MA.³ Mary Wesson died in 1814 at Temple, Hillsborough Co., NH.^4,2

     Esther Ball was born on 9 December 1745 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA; "Ester."² She was the daughter of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson.¹ Esther Ball married John Rogers, son of John Rogers and Elizabeth Newton, on 28 November 1769 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.³ Esther Ball died on 13 December 1811 at Marlborough, Cheshire Co., NH, at age 66.⁴
     As of 28 November 1769,her married name was Rogers.³

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 18 May 1748 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA; "Elisabeth."² She was the daughter of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson.¹

     Nathaniel Ball was born on 22 September 1751 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson.¹ Nathaniel Ball married Martha Boynton, daughter of Joshua Boynton and Martha Stickney, on 30 November 1775.¹ Nathaniel Ball died on 9 April 1805 at Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY, at age 53.^3,4 He was buried at Jerusalem Hill Cemetery, Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY.³
     His name appears in the petition for the town of Temple, NH along with that of his father, Nathaniel and bother John. He enlisted in the Revolutionary War and resided in Temple. He was a deacon and resided in Temple until about 1787, then moved to Litchfield NY as one of the earliest settlers there.¹

     John Ball was born on 29 April 1754 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson.¹ John Ball married Hannah Farley on 4 December 1777 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.³ John Ball died on 28 August 1815 at Temple, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 61.³
     He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and made ensign in 1795. His occupation was a plough-maker and contractor. He was also a deacon.¹

     Rebecca Ball was baptized on 21 November 1756 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA; "Rebekah."² She was the daughter of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson.¹

     Lucy Ball was baptized on 20 May 1759 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA.² She was the daughter of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson.¹ Lucy Ball married Abiel Parker on 8 May 1783.¹

     Sarah Gookin was born on 30 December 1725 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.² She was the daughter of Edmund Gookin and Sarah Tucker.² Sarah Gookin married Ebenezer Ball, son of Nathaniel Ball and Sarah Baker, on 16 October 1746 at Concord, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ Sarah Gookin died circa 1781.³

     Ebenezer Ball was born on 26 February 1748/49 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 He was the son of Ebenezer Ball and Sarah Gookin.¹ Ebenezer Ball married Elizabeth Davis on 18 October 1770 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.³ Ebenezer Ball died before 1803; when his brother John was appointed guardian of son David.⁴

     Nathaniel Ball was born on 24 January 1750/51 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Ball and Sarah Gookin.¹ Nathaniel Ball married Sarah Nevins, daughter of Thomas Nevins and Bridget Snow, on 3 November 1774.² Nathaniel Ball died on 29 May 1834 at Hebron, Grafton Co., NH, at age 83.² He was buried at Hebron Village Cemetery, Hebron, Grafton Co., NH.³
     He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War form Hollis.¹

     Sarah Ball was born on 26 May 1753 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Sarah Gookin.¹ Sarah Ball married Solomon Wheat on 29 August 1771 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.³ Sarah Ball died on 22 August 1782 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 29.⁴ She was buried at Congregational Church Cemetery, Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.⁴

     Comment by DGB: This is a very difficult family to sort out. the easiest way I can reconcile the patchwork of data is to make an unsupported assumption about the marriage to Elizabeth Colburn either being to a different William Ball and that this William Ball married Sarah Woodman or assuming that this William Ball was simultaneously married to two women in different towns. Alternatively, one could fabricate a more complicated assumption that William Ball was courting two women at the same time (Sarah and Elizabeth) and got engaged to Sarah and married to Elizabeth; but it was Sarah that was listed as the mother to the Ball baby that was baptized in Salem MA in December 1781, so perhaps Elizabeth died early and William quickly married Sarah. End of comment. He was a Revolutionary Wary soldier from Walpole, NH.¹

     Mehitabel Ball was born on 3 August 1757 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Sarah Gookin.¹ Mehitabel Ball married Paul Coburn circa 1780.¹ Mehitabel Ball died on 1 November 1820 at Callatin Co., IL, at age 63.²
     As of circa 1780,her married name was Coburn.¹

     Paul Coburn was born at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.¹ He married Mehitabel Ball, daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Sarah Gookin, circa 1780.¹
