     Raymond A. Ball was born on 24 September 1880.¹ He was the son of Willis Gardner Ball and Mary J. Murphy.¹

     Lillie C. Smith was born circa 1868 at Rockport, Essex Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of John Smith and Eliza (????)¹ Lillie C. Smith married Charles Judson Ball, son of Gardner Leander Ball and Julia A. M. Dutton, on 1 October 1887 at Leominster, Worcester Co., MA.¹
     As of 1 October 1887,her married name was Ball.

     Emma M. Higgins married Frederick O. Ball, son of Oscar Cheney Ball and Bessie Sawtelle, on 6 June 1900.¹
     As of 6 June 1900,her married name was Ball.

     Emelia M. Ackerman married Homer E. Ball, son of Jotham Homer Ball and Abby C. Newell, on 8 September 1881.¹
     As of 8 September 1881,her married name was Ball.

     Hollis Homer Ball was born on 22 September 1883.¹ He was the son of Homer E. Ball and Emelia M. Ackerman.¹ Hollis Homer Ball died on 3 September 1884.¹

     Earl R. Ball was born on 8 April 1886.¹ He was the son of Homer E. Ball and Emelia M. Ackerman.¹

     Martha Boynton was born on 29 August 1745 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^2,3 She was the daughter of Joshua Boynton and Martha Stickney.⁴ Martha Boynton married Nathaniel Ball, son of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson, on 30 November 1775.¹ Martha Boynton died on 24 September 1839 at Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY, at age 94.^5,2 She was buried at Jerusalem Hill Cemetery, Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY.⁵
     As of 30 November 1775,her married name was Ball.

     Joseph Ball was born on 18 October 1800 at Herkimer Co., NY.^2,3,4 He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Lovina Bronson.¹ Joseph Ball married Adeline L. Snow say 1824.³ Joseph Ball married Martha Briggs, daughter of Daniel Briggs and Augusta Goodell, on 3 January 1833.⁵ Joseph Ball died on 2 October 1877 at Hamilton, Madison Co., NY, at age 76.^6,3 He was buried at Madison Street Cemetery, Hamilton, Madison Co., NY.⁶
     Comment by DGB: The attachment of this Joseph as son of Nathaniel and Lovina Ball is based on studied guesses and assumptions, but is the most logical fit. Nathaniel had a son born about 1800. Joseph is said to have been born in Herkimer Co. NY, Nathanield lived many years in Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY and had a brother Joseph living in that town as well. There were no other Ball families living in Herkimer Co. NY that had a male child born about 1800. End of comment.

     Nathaniel Ball was born on 18 June 1778 at Temple, Hillsborough Co., NH.² He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Martha Boynton.¹ Nathaniel Ball married Lovina Bronson circa 1799.¹ Nathaniel Ball died on 24 October 1872 at Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY, at age 94.³ He was buried at Jerusalem Hill Cemetery, Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY.⁴
     They resided in Hector, New York. He removed from Temple, NH to Litchfield, New York in 1787, along with his brothers.¹

     Joseph Ball was born on 27 July 1779 at Temple, Hillsborough Co., NH.² He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Martha Boynton.¹ Joseph Ball married Lucy Emery, daughter of Zachariah Emery and Mary Leman, on 25 February 1802.¹ Joseph Ball died on 11 May 1873 at Herkimer Co., NY, at age 93.³ He was buried at Jerusalem Hill Cemetery, Litchfield, Herkimer Co., NY.³

     Joshua Ball was born on 14 August 1781 at Temple, Hillsborough Co., NH.² He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Martha Boynton.¹ Joshua Ball married Lucinda Aylesworth, daughter of Joseph Aylesworth and Freelove Coy, circa 1803.¹ Joshua Ball married Mary Catlin say 1824.¹ Joshua Ball died on 21 October 1846 at Mexico, Oswego Co., NY, at age 65.³ He was buried at Mexico Village Cemetery, Mexico, Oswego Co., NY.⁴

     David T. Ball was born on 24 October 1783 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH; twin of Jonathan.^2,3 He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Martha Boynton.² David T. Ball married Lucy Belding on 16 October 1808 at Ashfield, Franklin Co., MA.⁴ David T. Ball died on 6 September 1858 at age 74.⁵ He was buried at Bald Eagle Lake Cemetery, Brandon Gardens, Oakland Co., MI.⁵

     Jonathan Ball was born on 24 October 1783; twin of David.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Martha Boynton.¹ Jonathan Ball died say 1803; soon after the 1802 marriage of brother Joseph.²

     Hannah Farley was born circa 1757.² She married John Ball, son of Nathaniel Ball and Mary Wesson, on 4 December 1777 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.² Hannah Farley died on 4 October 1814.²
     As of 4 December 1777,her married name was Ball.

     John Ball was born on 7 November 1778 at Temple, Hillsborough Co., NH.² He was the son of John Ball and Hannah Farley.¹ John Ball married Bridget Parkhurst on 4 December 1803.¹ John Ball died on 31 August 1856 at age 77.²
