Elizabeth Davison1

Elizabeth Davison
b. ????
d. ????
Elizabeth Davison married Captain Robert Ball on 26 June 1728 at Charlestown, Suffolk Co., MA.2
Comment by DGB: Two points: First, it is possible that her maiden surname was "Davidson", although the transcription of her 1728 marriage to Robert Ball shows as "Davison". Second, Dr. Druse thought she was the Mrs. Elizabeth Ball of Dorchester MA that married Ebenezer Spear of Roxbury 19 Mar 1772. End of comment.3 As of 26 June 1728,her married name was Ball.2      Image from the painting attibuted by some to John Smibert, but more likely to Joseph Blackburn. The original painting is currently in a private collection in the Boston Historical Society, MA, held by a descendant of Captain Ball.
