     Comment by DGB: The evidence to link Martha to parents Ambrose and Lydia Sackett comes from her daughter Grace listed on the 1910 census as "niece" when living with Ellen (Sackett) Pulver, i.e., Martha's sister. End of comment.⁶ As of circa 1878,her married name was Sherwood.² As of circa 1897,her married name was Surdam.⁴

     Emma Jane Sackett was born on 5 August 1871 at CT.¹ She was the daughter of Marvin H. Sackett and Maria C. Thorpe.¹ Emma Jane Sackett married Henry Herbert Atkins, son of Alfred Atkins, circa 1890.¹ Emma Jane Sackett died on 19 May 1953 at Sharon, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 81.¹

Lonergan and Catherine E. McGrath, on 7 April 1915 at New York, New York Co., NY.² Olive M. Atkins died in 1954 at Fall River, Bristol Co., MA.²

     Priscella M. Sackett was born on 6 February 1914 at Sharon, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Chester A. Sackett and Rose K. (????)¹ Priscella M. Sackett died on 5 November 1991 at Manchester, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77.¹
     Her married name was Suitor.¹

     Sidney L. Atkins was born on 21 January 1912 at Salisbury, Litchfield Co., CT.^1,3 He was the son of Henry Herbert Atkins and Emma Jane Sackett.¹ Sidney L. Atkins married Doris Virginia Bonhotel, daughter of Charles Bonhotel and Tryphena Ostrander.³ Sidney L. Atkins died on 1 December 1967 at Sharon, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 55.³
