Cole died on 25 July 1999 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., NE, at age 93.¹ He was buried at Wilcox Cemetery, Kearney, Buffalo Co., NE.¹

Cole married LaVern Virgil Hixon, son of Jason Thomas Hixon and Iva Edith Fletcher, on 31 March 1946.¹ Darlene M. Cole died on 27 June 2018 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., NE, at age 91.¹ She was buried at Wilcox Cemetery, Wilcox, Kearney Co., NE.¹

     Donna R. Webben was born on 14 September 1932 at Shelton, Buffalo Co., NE.¹ She was the daughter of Frank A. Webben and Stella E. Kneher.¹ Donna R. Webben married Merlyn L. Cole, son of Vernard W. Cole and Lillian J. Ball, on 12 April 1953 at Shelton, Buffalo Co., NE.¹ Donna R. Webben died on 21 July 2006 at Grand Island, Hall Co., NE, at age 73.¹ She was buried at Shelton Cemetery, Hall Co., NE.¹
     As of 12 April 1953,her married name was Cole.¹
