     Frederick Douglas Ball was born on 24 April 1897 at Albert Lea Township, Freeborn Co., MN.^2,3 He was the son of Frank Douglas Ball and Florence Annie Yates.¹ Frederick Douglas Ball married Mary Elizabeth Isenhart, daughter of Charles A. Isenhart and Cora Belle Moss, on 4 July 1925 at Cartersville, Cumberland Co., VA.^4,5 Frederick Douglas Ball and Mary Elizabeth Isenhart were divorced before 1950.⁶ Frederick Douglas Ball died on 17 August 1960 at age 63.⁷ He was buried at James River Baptist Church Cemetery, Williamsburg West, James City Co., VA.⁸

     Mary Pratt married Jonathan Ball, son of Jonathan Ball and Martha French, on 26 October 1773 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA.² Mary Pratt and Jonathan Ball posted marriage intentions on 14 September 1773.¹ Mary Pratt died in 1835 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA; Comment by DGB: based on the assumption that this was the over age 70 female living with her son William Ball for the 1830 census.      William Ball was born on 15 September 1796 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Jonathan Ball and Mary Pratt.¹ William Ball married Elizabeth Rice, daughter of Ezekiel Rice and Elizabeth Rice, on 21 December 1813.¹ William Ball died on 15 March 1885 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 88.^1,3

     Ebenezer Pratt Ball was born circa 31 December 1794 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA; last digit of year missing in the record (31 Dec 179-.)² He was the son of Jonathan Ball and Mary Pratt.¹

Ball married Mary Elizabeth Rice, daughter of Luther Rice and Zipporah Kendall, on 29 April 1846 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.¹ Addison R. Ball died on 13 May 1883 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 59.⁴

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 7 September 1826 at Bolton, Worcester Co., MA; originally recorded as "Hannah", but corrected by her father later.² She was the daughter of William Ball and Elizabeth Rice.¹ Elizabeth Ball married Sawyer (????) on 23 April 1850.¹ Elizabeth Ball died on 4 October 1852 at age 26.¹
