     Lincoln Logan Ball was born on 16 July 1887 at Lincoln, Logan Co., IL.¹ He was the son of John Sanford Ball and Joanna Taylor.¹ Lincoln Logan Ball died on 16 July 1887 at Lincoln, Logan Co., IL.¹

     Francis H. Lambert was born on 4 October 1865 at Waltham, LaSalle Co., IL.^2,3 He was the son of Samuel Lambert and Caroline (????)⁴ Francis H. Lambert married Anna Louisa Ball, daughter of John Sanford Ball and Joanna Taylor, on 4 June 1896.⁵ Francis H. Lambert died on 5 October 1938 at Oglesby, LaSalle Co., IL, at age 73.³

     Amanda Salisbury was born circa 27 July 1847 at IL; age at death 58y 5m 24d.^2,3 She was the daughter of V. Salisbury and Marietta (????)⁴ Amanda Salisbury married John Sanford Ball, son of John Ball and Harriet Blake, on 18 November 1888.¹ Amanda Salisbury died on 20 January 1906 at Beatrice, Gage Co., NE.^3,5
     As of 18 November 1888,her married name was Ball.¹ From and obituary in the "Times Courier" in IL: J. S. Ball, who was here in the hardware business until 1886 and who left here shortly thereafter, and has been gone since, arrived Wednesday of the present week to bury his wife, Mrs. Amanda E. Ball, who died January 20th at 8:30 am of paralysis at her home in Beatrice, Nebraska, age 58 years, 5 months, 24 days. The remains arrived here at 1:42 pm via the C&A accompanied by the husband, J. S. Ball, and his son Harry Ball. The reason for the burial here was because of the burial of Mr. Ball's first wife here twenty years ago and the intention of Mr. Ball sleeping in the same plot. Upon arriving Mr. Ball inquired about old friends and neighbors and it happens they were dead or away on visits. Therefore feeling lake a stranger in a strange land the old man sad and full of sorrow and close to the grave, did not tarry long following the burial as in company with his son left Thursday for their western home.⁵      Photo courtesy of Jo Beeney.

     Beatrice Louisa Ball was born on 27 July 1895 at NE.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Sanford Ball and Amanda Salisbury.¹ Beatrice Louisa Ball married Joseph L. Hartman say 1917.^3,4 Beatrice Louisa Ball died on 28 June 1984 at Fresno Co., CA, at age 88.^5,6 She was buried at Belmont Memorial Park, Fresno, Fresno Co., CA.⁷
     As of say 1917,her married name was Hartman.

     Mary M. Whaley was born on 9 June 1852 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.² She was the daughter of Stephen Whaley and Mary Williams.² Mary M. Whaley married James Warren Ball, son of John Ball and Harriet Blake, on 23 August 1868 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.^3,1 Mary M. Whaley and James Warren Ball were divorced after 1874.^3,4 Mary M. Whaley died on 23 June 1935 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, at age 83.²
     As of 23 August 1868,her married name was Ball. As of 28 May 1901,her married name was O'Donnell.

     Mamie C. Ball was born circa 1869 at MI.² She was the daughter of James Warren Ball and Mary M. Whaley.¹

     Nettie F. Ball was born circa 1872 at MI.² She was the daughter of James Warren Ball and Mary M. Whaley.¹ Nettie F. Ball married John Barry circa 1907.³ Nettie F. Ball died on 8 July 1930 at Cook Co., IL.⁴ She was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, Cook Co., IL.⁵
     As of before 1899,her married name was Benner. As of circa 1907,her married name was Barry.³

     Elsie L. Ball was born circa 1874 at OH.² She was the daughter of James Warren Ball and Mary M. Whaley.¹

     Anna Angeline Clifton was born on 9 February 1852 at WI; [Comment by DGB] This is likely the "Sarah A. Clifton" with parents James and Martha listed on the 1870 census for Albert Lea, Freeborn Co., MN, as well as the "Sarah A. Clifton" listed with the same parents on the Clifton, Grant Co., WI 1860 census. [End of comment]^2,3 She was the daughter of Martha (????)⁴ Anna Angeline Clifton married George Douglas Ball, son of George Washington Ball and Emily Hamilton Soule, on 29 November 1871 at St. Albans, Franklin Co., VT.^1,3 Anna Angeline Clifton died on 17 January 1926 at Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 73.⁵ She was buried at Los Angeles Odd Fellows Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., CA.⁶
     As of 29 November 1871,her married name was Ball.¹

     Libbie Eunice Ball was born on 25 September 1877 at Sacramento, Sacramento Co., CA.² She was the daughter of George Douglas Ball and Anna Angeline Clifton.¹ Libbie Eunice Ball married John Wesley Hard on 18 March 1896 at Albert Lea, Freeborn Co., MN; [maiden name indexed as "Ward" and in the Warren book as "Hand"].^1,3 Libbie Eunice Ball and John Wesley Hard were divorced after 1910.^4,5,6 Libbie Eunice Ball married Henry W. Broeffle before 1920.⁷ Libbie Eunice Ball died on 27 September 1962 at Oroville, Butte Co., CA, at age 85.² She was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oroville, Butte Co., CA.²

     Cora May Ball was born on 1 July 1881.² She was the daughter of George Douglas Ball and Anna Angeline Clifton.¹ Cora May Ball died on 7 August 1883 at MN at age 2.^1,2

     John Wesley Hard was born in March 1858 at PA.² He married Libbie Eunice Ball, daughter of George Douglas Ball and Anna Angeline Clifton, on 18 March 1896 at Albert Lea, Freeborn Co., MN; [maiden name indexed as "Ward" and in the Warren book as "Hand"].^1,3 John Wesley Hard and Libbie Eunice Ball were divorced after 1910.^4,5,6 John Wesley Hard died on 7 July 1924 at Koochiching Co., MN, at age 66.⁷ He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls, Koochiching Co., MN.⁸

     Daisy Frances Miller was born on 31 October 1851 at Vacaville, Solano Co., CA.¹ She was the daughter of Meredith Raines Miller and Mary Ann Troutman.² Daisy Frances Miller married Charles Henry Ball, son of George Washington Ball and Emily Hamilton Soule, on 10 February 1891 at Vacaville, Solano Co., CA; "Chas. H." and "Daisy."^1,3 Daisy Frances Miller died on 17 August 1930 at Alameda Co., CA, at age 78.² She was buried at Chapel of the Chimes Columbarium and Mausoleum, Oakland, Alameda Co., CA.²

     Florence Annie Yates was born on 12 June 1870 at Yorkshire, England.¹ She married Frank Douglas Ball, son of George Douglas Ball and Anna Angeline Clifton, on 1 August 1894 at Lee, Aitkin Co., MN.² Florence Annie Yates died on 8 March 1928 at Williamsburg, James Co., VA, at age 57.³
