     Carleton Roy Ball was born on 12 June 1873 at Little Rock, Lyon Co., IA.³ He was the son of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield.¹ Carleton Roy Ball married Bertha Floretta Steward, daughter of Thomas Corwin Steward and Lydia Cordelia Palmer, on 14 June 1904.³ Carleton Roy Ball died on 2 February 1958 at Washington, DC, at age 84.³
     He graduated with a master's degree from Iowa State College. He was employed by the US Department of Agriculture as an agronomist in charge of cereal crops between 1899 and 1930. From 1930 to 1934 he was a Professor at the University of California. Between 1934 and 1943 he was a senior researcher for the Department of Agriculture in Washington DC and a co-ordinator between the Department of Agriculture and the Tennessee Valley Authority.      Abbie Christine Ball was born on 14 December 1875 at Little Rock, Lyon Co., IA.^2,3 She was the daughter of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield.¹ Abbie Christine Ball married Draper Isaac Younker, son of Jeremiah Younker and Adelia Almira Goodsell, on 27 August 1894.³ Abbie Christine Ball died on 6 May 1947 at Logan, Cache Co., UT, at age 71.³ She was buried at Logan City Cemetery, Logan, Cache Co., UT.⁴

     Margarette Adell Ball was born on 4 June 1879 at Little Rock, Lyon Co., IA.^3,2 She was the daughter of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield.⁴ Margarette Adell Ball married George R. Dickson, son of Samuel T. Dickson, on 1 June 1904 at Sidney, Osceola Co., IA.⁵ Margarette Adell Ball and George R. Dickson were divorced before 1929.⁶ Margarette Adell Ball married John Allison Haining, son of Frank Allison Haining and Minnie Belle Connolly, on 23 November 1930.⁷ Margarette Adell Ball married Christian Jensen in 1945.⁷ Margarette Adell Ball died in 1957 at Staples, Todd Co., MN.²

     Edward Graham Ball was born on 15 April 1882 at Little Rock, Lyon Co., IA.² He was the son of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield.¹ Edward Graham Ball married Flora Lucy Barnes, daughter of Willis Henry Barnes and Sarepta Ellen Brockman, on 1 September 1909 at LeMars, Plymouth Co., IA.^3,4 Edward Graham Ball married Evangeline Loretta Crooker, daughter of John P. Crooker and Elizabeth Richmond, on 4 September 1923 at Alba, Antrim Co., MI; "Eva."⁵ Edward Graham Ball died on 15 February 1957 at Royal Oak, Oakland Co., MI, at age 74.^3,6

     Wilbur Mansfield Ball was born on 10 March 1888 at Little Rock, Lyon Co., IA.^2,3 He was the son of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield.¹ Wilbur Mansfield Ball married Ruth Melvina Bettes, daughter of George Wilson Bettes and Esther Jane Orgue, on 25 December 1921 at Independence, Montgomery Co., KS.³ Wilbur Mansfield Ball died on 23 June 1957 at Witchita, Sedgwick Co., KS, at age 69.³

     Mildred Ruth Norvell was born on 3 June 1875 at Eminence, Shannon Co., MO.¹ She was the daughter of James Wesley Norvell and Elizabeth Ann Wingo.¹ Mildred Ruth Norvell married Elmer Darwin Ball, son of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield, on 14 June 1899 at Fort Collins, Larimer Co., CO.¹ Mildred Ruth Norvell died on 10 December 1972 at Alhambra, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 97.¹

     Draper Isaac Younker was born on 22 May 1865 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Jeremiah Younker and Adelia Almira Goodsell.¹ Draper Isaac Younker married Abbie Christine Ball, daughter of Leroy Augustus Ball and Mary Adell Mansfield, on 27 August 1894.¹ Draper Isaac Younker died on 5 July 1938 at North Logan, Cache Co., UT, at age 73.¹ He was buried at Logan City Cemetery, Logan, Cache Co., UT.²
