     Lydia Ball was baptized on 25 May 1755 at Bristol, Bristol Co., RI.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Ball and Sarah Jenkins.¹ Lydia Ball died on 16 October 1826 at Bristol, Bristol Co., RI, at age 71.¹
     She and Benedict Tew were partners before 1780.¹

     Jonathan Ball was born on 26 June 1766 at Bristol, Bristol Co., RI.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Ball and Sarah Jenkins.¹ Jonathan Ball died on 27 June 1766 at Bristol, Bristol Co., RI.¹

     Humphrey Ball was born on 4 January 1741/42 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.² He was the son of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹ Humphrey Ball married first Ruth Griswold, daughter of Jeremiah Griswold and Bathsheba (????), on 22 April 1766 at Durham, Middlesex Co., CT.² Humphrey Ball married second Betsy Evans.¹ Humphrey Ball died on 8 February 1821 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT, at age 79.³ He was buried at Meeting House Hill Cemetery, Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.⁴
     Comment by DGB: The 1790 and 1800 censuses probably indicate another son and three daughters, possibly by his second wife Betsy, although none of these children have been identified. End of comment. He began military service in June 1777 at New Haven, New Haven Co., CT, when he enlisted into the Company of Capt. Richards and Regiment of Col. Jedidiah Huntington.

     Ruth Griswold was baptized on 10 February 1744/45 at Durham, Middlesex Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Jeremiah Griswold and Bathsheba (????)² Ruth Griswold married Humphrey Ball, son of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child, on 22 April 1766 at Durham, Middlesex Co., CT.²
     As of 23 April 1766,her married name was Ball.¹

     Ezekiel Ball was born on 8 March 1743 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.² He was the son of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹

     Sarah Ball was born on 10 May 1745 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹

     John Ball was born on 27 January 1745/46 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.² He was the son of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹

     Mehitable Ball was born on 27 September 1750 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹ Mehitable Ball died circa 1811 at CT.¹

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 4 January 1752 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹

     Ebenezer Ball was born on 16 February 1754 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.² He was the son of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹ Ebenezer Ball died on 16 January 1755 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.²

     Hannah Ball was born on 27 November 1756 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.¹

     Joseph Sullard was born on 5 November 1711 at Bristol, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of John Sullard and Mary Maxfield.² Joseph Sullard married Mehitabel Ball, daughter of Benjamin Ball and Mehitable Maxwell, on 24 December 1735 at Dorchester, Suffolk Co., MA.³ Joseph Sullard died before 1786.¹
     Joseph Sullard was also known as Joseph Sullyard.¹ Marriage Intention Notice, Dorchester MA: "Joseph Sullard of Lebanon in the Colony of Connecticut & Mehitable Ball of this Town published 3 times. And have had a Certificate."⁴

     Roswell Ball was born circa 1767.¹ He was the son of Humphrey Ball and Ruth Griswold.¹ Roswell Ball married Huldah Hartshorn on 2 October 1789 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² Roswell Ball died in October 1849 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.³ He was buried at Eddyville Cemetery, Eddyville, Cattaraugus Co., NY.⁴
     On the 1880 census for son Azro, Roswell's place of birth is listed as VT.⁵ A child, likely of Roswell, died in 1814 at Roswell Ball. Based on census data, the main choice would be Elizabeth.² Roswell settled southwest of Eddyville, NY before 1828.⁶

     Betsy Evans was born circa 1752.² She married first Humphrey Ball, son of Ebenezer Ball and Mary Child.² Betsy Evans married second William Evans on 2 January 1823 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.³ Betsy Evans died on 3 June 1829 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT. She was buried at Old Center Cemetery, Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.
     Her married name was Ball.² As of 2 January 1823,her married name was Evans.

     Huldah Hartshorn was born circa 1773 at CT.² She married Roswell Ball, son of Humphrey Ball and Ruth Griswold, on 2 October 1789 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.³
     As of 2 October 1789,her married name was Ball.⁴

     Nathan Ball was born on 18 February 1791 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² He was the son of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹

     Anna Ball was born on 25 September 1792 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹

     Ruth Ball was born on 29 October 1794 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹ Ruth Ball married Zachariah Parker, son of Levi Parker and Eunice Davis, on 26 November 1812 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² Ruth Ball died on 26 April 1821 at age 26.³ She was buried at Carter Cemetery, Florence, Erie Co., OH.³
     As of 24 November 1812,her married name was Parker.¹

     Roswell Ball was born on 21 February 1797 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² He was the son of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹

     Abigail Ball was born on 18 February 1799 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹

     Daniel Ball was born on 15 March 1801 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² He was the son of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹ Daniel Ball married Elmina M. Botsford, daughter of Daniel Bacon Botsford and Betsey Foote, circa 1837.³ Daniel Ball died before 1880 at Cattaraugus Co., NY.³

     Oriman Ball was born on 6 October 1803 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² He was the son of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 4 May 1805 at Norwich, Windsor Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹ Elizabeth Ball married Daniel Smith.³ Elizabeth Ball died in August 1887 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY, at age 82.³ She was buried at Eddyville Cemetery, Eddyville, Cattaraugus Co., NY.⁴
     Her married name was Smith.³

     Azro Ball was born circa 1814 at VT.² He was the son of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹ Azro Ball married Edna Kilburn circa 1846.² Azro Ball died on 14 July 1891 at Great Valley, Cattaraugus Co., NY.³

     William Ball was born circa 1810 at VT.¹ He was the son of Roswell Ball and Huldah Hartshorn.¹ William Ball married Eunice Kilbourne on 22 October 1837 at Huron Co., OH.¹ William Ball died on 3 May 1870 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹ He was buried at Eddyville Cemetery, Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹
