     Fanny Glidden was born on 6 February 1822 at Canada.² She was the daughter of James Glidden and Diadama Ball.¹ Fanny Glidden married William Ober, son of Israel Ober and Susan Simonds, circa 1840.² Fanny Glidden died on 14 March 1906 at Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI, at age 84.² She was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI.²

     Comment by DGB: There may be some confusion between Olive Ball, daughter of Joseph Ball versus Olive Jane Ball, daughter of Jasper Murdock Ball. Whether there were two separate Olives or whether a single Olive was daughter of Joseph or Jasper, is not clear. The Olive Ball that married William Moir was living with Joseph Ball in the 1850 census in the same town as Jasper Ball, so it would seem strange to live with an uncle rather than a father. Some work needs to be done to determine whether there were one or two Olive Balls and, if only one, who her father was. End of comment.

     Rebecca Beebe was born on 24 June 1795 at Marlow, Cheshire Co., NH.² She was the daughter of Zaccheus Beebe and Lurannah Mack.¹ Rebecca Beebe married Orange Ball, son of Joseph Ball and Olive Phelps, on 4 August 1816 at Newport, Orleans Co., VT; "Rebeca Runnals."³ Rebecca Beebe died on 6 October 1878 at Lake Co., OH, at age 83.⁴ She was buried at Perry Center Cemetery, Lake Co., OH.⁴
