     According to the record of her marriage Clarissa was adopted by her uncle and aunt, Rufus and Eliza Ball, after the death of her mother and likely before her father remarried.³ As of 17 May 1869,her married name was Savage.²

     Patricia Bonnie Ball was born on 15 September 1939.¹ She was the daughter of D'Arcy Thornton Ball and Edith Agnes Bloye.¹ Patricia Bonnie Ball died on 19 August 1970 at BC, Canada, at age 30.^1,2 She was buried at Mount Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm, BC, Canada.²
