Teal, on 1 December 1920 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.¹ Emma Amelia Horton died on 8 April 1992 at Howell, Livingston Co., MI, at age 90.¹
     As of 1 December 1920,her married name was Ball.

     Ruth Vivian Ball was born on 31 January 1922 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Harrison Ball and Emma Amelia Horton.² Ruth Vivian Ball married James Squire, son of John Redverse Squire and Margarete Q. Carmody, on 4 April 1949 at Bowling Green, Wood Co., OH.³ Ruth Vivian Ball died on 14 August 2006 at Newberry, Luce Co., MI, at age 84.¹ She was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Newberry, Luce Co., MI.⁴
     Her record of marriage to James Squire in 1949 notes that she had had an early marriage that was annulled (in addition to her divorce from Robert Kaercher).³ As of 25 August 1945,her married name was Kaercher.⁵ As of 4 April 1949,her married name was Squire.

     Martin J. Ball was born on 29 May 1924 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Harrison Ball and Emma Amelia Horton.² Martin J. Ball married Violet R. Waters, daughter of Orrey K. Waters and Silva I. Peavey, on 28 December 1948 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.³ Martin J. Ball died on 19 April 2008 at Ypsilanti, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 83.¹
     During World War II he was in the 9th Air Force and was a flight engeineer and aerial gunner. His unit recived several awards for outstanding service taking part in the bombing of Berlin.      Emerson Eugene Ball was born on 13 July 1935 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.² He was the son of Benjamin Harrison Ball and Emma Amelia Horton.¹ Emerson Eugene Ball died on 12 February 2017 at age 81.³
