     Alfred E. Goethe was born on 28 July 1880 at Raisinville, Monroe Co., MI.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas Goethe and Adeline Gillette.⁴ Alfred E. Goethe married Bertha Florence Conklin, daughter of Albert Sylvester Conklin and Lucy Ann Carpenter, in 1901.⁵ Alfred E. Goethe and Bertha Florence Conklin were divorced circa 1902.⁵ Alfred E. Goethe married Florence Cornelia Ball, daughter of Marvin Moses Ball and Rhoda A. Teal, on 16 April 1908 at Milan, Monroe Co., MI.¹ Alfred E. Goethe died on 4 May 1939 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 58.³ He was buried at Azalia Cemetery, Azalia, Monroe Co., MI.⁴

     Marcella Hope Goethe was born on 7 February 1919 at Milan, Monroe Co., MI.^3,4 She was the daughter of Alfred E. Goethe and Florence Cornelia Ball.¹ Marcella Hope Goethe married Carl Anthony Miley, son of Ernest E. Miley and Emma A. Kiefer, on 26 June 1937 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.^1,2 Marcella Hope Goethe died on 9 February 2012 at Dexter, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 93.⁴

Goethe and Florence Cornelia Ball, on 26 June 1937 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.^1,3 Carl Anthony Miley died on 27 November 1963 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 51.² He was buried at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.⁴

     Donald M. Goethe was born on 17 August 1912 at Azalia, Monroe Co., MI.^3,2 He was the son of Alfred E. Goethe and Florence Cornelia Ball.¹ Donald M. Goethe married Bernice Powell, daughter of Rollin Powell and Lula Jane Blair, on 1 March 1938 at Angola, Stuben Co., IN.^1,4 Donald M. Goethe died on 28 April 1963 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 50.² He was buried at Azalia Cemetery, Azalia, Monroe Co., MI.⁵

     Kenneth Paul Goethe was born on 23 March 1909 at MI.^1,3 He was the son of Alfred E. Goethe and Florence Cornelia Ball.¹ Kenneth Paul Goethe died on 12 October 1931 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 22.⁴ He was buried at Azalia Cemetery, Azalia, Monroe Co., MI.³

     Violet R. Waters was born on 8 July 1929 at Berrien Springs, Berrien Co., MI.^2,1 She was the daughter of Orrey K. Waters and Silva I. Peavey.¹ Violet R. Waters married Martin J. Ball, son of Benjamin Harrison Ball and Emma Amelia Horton, on 28 December 1948 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.¹ Violet R. Waters died on 16 November 1971 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 42; resident of Northfield, Washtenaw Co., MI.^2,3
     As of 21 December 1947,her married name was Bishop. As of 28 December 1948,her married name was Ball.

     Franklin C. Ball was born on 11 November 1939 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Harrison Ball and Emma Amelia Horton.¹ Franklin C. Ball died on 28 December 2007 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 68.¹
