     Louis Carl Gartman was born on 8 January 1871 at Wilson, Sheboygan Co., WI.^1,2 He was the son of Carl August Gartman and Wilhemine Ehrhart.² Louis Carl Gartman married Mary W. Ball.¹ Harold Warren Gartman married Altha Ellen Wilson, daughter of William Berriman Wilson and Cora Orm Doop, on 12 April 1914.¹ Harold Warren Gartman died on 16 January 1979 at Lamar, Barton Co., MO, at age 87.²

     May Adeline Gartman was born on 29 May 1897 at Calumet Co., WI.^1,2 She was the daughter of Louis Carl Gartman and Mary W. Ball.¹ May Adeline Gartman married Commodore Dewey Ussery, son of Walter Taylor Ussery and Dora Leona Uptergrove, on 8 June 1920.¹ May Adeline Gartman died in 1982.³ She was buried at Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing, Payne Co., OK.³
