     Martha Caroline Creighton was born on 22 September 1835 at Clarke Co., AL.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Rev. Hiram Creighton and Mary Thomas.^5,6 Martha Caroline Creighton married Timothy Horton Ball, son of Hervey Ball and Jane Ayrault Horton, on 19 April 1855 at Clarke Co., AL.¹ Martha Caroline Creighton died on 25 February 1912 at Whatley, Clarke Co., AL, at age 76.⁶ She was buried at Creighton Family Cemetry, Clarke Co., AL.⁶

     Herbert S. Ball was born on 6 July 1856 at Cedar Lake, Lake Co., IN.^2,3 He was the son of Timothy Horton Ball and Martha Caroline Creighton.¹ Herbert S. Ball died on 25 March 1930 at Pensacola, Escambia Co., FL, at age 73.³

     Georgietta Ethberta Ball was born on 1 January 1861 at Newton, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Horton Ball and Martha Caroline Creighton.² Georgietta Ethberta Ball married Isaac Walter Martin on 31 May 1897 at Lake Co., IN.³ Georgietta Ethberta Ball died on 24 January 1952 at Buies Creek, Harnett Co., NC, at age 91.³
     As of 31 May 1897,her married name was Martin.³

     Richard J. Woodward was born circa 1832.¹ He married Elizabeth H. Ball, daughter of Hervey Ball and Jane Ayrault Horton, at Papaw Grove, IL.¹ Richard J. Woodward died in 1891.¹

     Marietta H. Woodward was the daughter of Richard J. Woodward and Elizabeth H. Ball.¹

     Eugenie H. Woodward was the daughter of Richard J. Woodward and Elizabeth H. Ball.¹
