     Lyman Kimball was born on 24 October 1805 at Nelson, Cheshire Co., NH.^2,3 He was the son of James Kimball and Bridget (????)⁴ Lyman Kimball married Phoebe Ball, daughter of Alvin Ball and Mary Siple, on 3 February 1835 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.¹ Lyman Kimball died on 25 July 1884 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT, at age 78.⁴ He was buried at North Ferrisburgh Cemetery, North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.³

     Mary Kimball was born circa 1836.² She was the daughter of Lyman Kimball and Phoebe Ball.¹ Mary Kimball died on 23 October 1844.² She was buried at North Ferrisburgh Cemetery, North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.²

     William B. Thorp was born in July 1829 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.^2,3,4 He was the son of George Thorp and Christiana S. Ball.¹ William B. Thorp died on 12 December 1901 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT, at age 72.³ He was buried at Barber Cemetery, Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT.⁵

     Betsy Thorp was born circa 1831 at VT.² She was the daughter of George Thorp and Christiana S. Ball.¹ Betsy Thorp died on 24 May 1863 at Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT.³ She was buried at Barber Cemetery, Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT.⁴

     Mary Ann Thorp was born circa 1833 at VT; age at death 41y 11m 21d (i.e., born 30 Jun 1830.)^2,1 She was the daughter of George Thorp and Christiana S. Ball.³ Mary Ann Thorp died on 21 June 1872 at Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT; drowned.¹ She was buried at Barber Cemetery, Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT.⁴

     George Carlton Thorp was born on 23 December 1834 at VT.^2,3 He was the son of George Thorp and Christiana S. Ball.⁴ George Carlton Thorp married Adelaide C. Carpenter.⁵ George Carlton Thorp married Margaret (????) circa 1898.⁶ George Carlton Thorp died on 31 January 1918 at Rice, Benton Co., MN, at age 83.⁷ He was buried at Northfield City Cemetery, Northfield, Rice Co., MN.³

     Phebe L. Thorp was born on 6 September 1843 at Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT.^2,3 She was the daughter of George Thorp and Christiana S. Ball.¹ Phebe L. Thorp married Seymour John Everest, son of John Hart Everest and Caroline Champlain, before 1865.⁴ Phebe L. Thorp died on 25 January 1918 at Bristol, Addison Co., VT, at age 74.³ She was buried at Lake View Cemetery, West Addison, Addison Co., VT.⁵
     Her married name was Adams.³ As of before 1865,her married name was Everest.⁴

     Herbert Steven Ball was born on 11 May 1868 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Stephen Ball and Lydia A. Phelps.¹ Herbert Steven Ball married Minnie M. Cushman, daughter of Alfred Cushman and Julia Lessor, on 7 July 1890 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.¹ Herbert Steven Ball married Hazel Almira Knowles, daughter of Arba N. F.      Frederick Thomas Ball was born on 5 April 1861 at North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.^2,3 He was the son of Alvin Ball and Harriet Hard.¹ Frederick Thomas Ball married Jennie Alletta Barber, daughter of George E. Barber and Jane Carpenter, on 18 June 1888 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.³ Frederick Thomas Ball died on 20 September 1917 at Randolph Center, Orange Co., VT, at age 56.^4,2 He was buried at Randolph Center Cemetery, Randolph Center, Orange Co., VT.⁴
     He purchased the Col. Mead farm in Randolph Center of 250acres in 1905 and raised potatoes and farm animals. The Balls were the first family in Randolph to own a car, a White Steamer.⁴

     Noble Lansing Ball was born on 24 February 1858 at Middlebury, Addison Co., VT; "Lansing Noble."² He was the son of Alvin Ball and Harriet Hard.¹ Noble Lansing Ball married Effie Luella Field, daughter of Stephen Field and Cornelia Siple, on 3 October 1883 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.² Noble Lansing Ball died on 10 April 1915 at Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 57.³ He was buried at Union Cemetery, Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.⁴

     Eveline Aurora Ball was born on 29 April 1852.¹ She was the daughter of Alvin Ball and Harriet Hard.¹ Eveline Aurora Ball died in 1916.¹

     Homer Newell Ball was born on 24 April 1848 at Middlebury, Addison Co., VT.² He was the son of Alvin Ball and Harriet Hard.¹ Homer Newell Ball married Emma Mary Foss, daughter of Smith Foss and Mary J. Campbell, on 19 March 1870.¹ Homer Newell Ball died on 15 May 1925 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT, at age 77.^3,2 He was buried at Union Cemetery, Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.³

     Nellie Ann Ball was born in April 1869 at VT.² She was the daughter of Alvin Ball and Harriet Hard.¹ Nellie Ann Ball married Merritt J. Dart, son of David M. Dart, on 21 January 1891 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.³ Nellie Ann Ball married Rev. Hervey D. Spencer, son of David Spencer and Adaline Seline Corbett, circa 1894.⁴ Nellie Ann Ball died in October 1903 at age 34.¹
     As of 21 January 1891,her married name was Dart.⁴ As of circa 1894,her married name was Spencer.⁴

     Harriet A. Ball was born circa 18 December 1854 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT; age at death 56y 3m 9d.^2,3 She was the daughter of Alvin Ball and Harriet Hard.¹ Harriet A. Ball died on 27 March 1912 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.⁴ She was buried at North Ferrisburgh Cemetery, North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.⁵

     Christiana E. Ball was born circa 17 December 1844 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT; age at death 40y 10m 16d.^1,2 She was the daughter of Alvin Ball and Diadamia S. Bart.¹ Christiana E. Ball married John Webb on 5 July 1865 at Vergennes, Addison Co., VT.³ Christiana E. Ball died on 2 November 1885 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.¹ She was buried at North Ferrisburgh Cemetery, North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.²
     As of 5 July 1865,her married name was Webb. Comment by DGB: In her estate, her father lists himself as the "only heir at law". There is no mention of a husband or children and she is referred to as "Christiana E. Ball". This leaves some question as to whether Christiana E. Ball, the daughter of Alvin, was ever married. End of comment.⁴

     Mary E. Ball was born on 25 May 1844 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Alvin Ball and Diadamia S. Bart.¹ Mary E. Ball married Martin W. Eno, son of Rufus Eno and Abigail (????), on 23 September 1863 at Burlington, Chittenden Co., VT; lists her parents as David and Eliza who were her cousins.³ Mary E. Ball married Andrew James circa 1895.⁵ Mary E. Ball died on 13 October 1900 at New Haven, Addison Co., VT, at age 56.⁴ She was buried at North Ferrisburgh Cemetery, North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.⁴
     As of 23 September 1863,her married name was Eno. As of circa 1895,her married name was James.⁵
