Arthur Mahon Sherman1
M, #30131, b. 28 November 1861
Arthur Mahon Sherman was born on 28 November 1861 at Brookfield, Eaton Co., MI.1 He was the son of John Clark Sherman and Phebe Jane Boice.1 Arthur Mahon Sherman married Diantha Emma Ball, daughter of Joseph Daniel Ball and Mary Ellen Laverock, on 16 April 1882 at Brookfield, Eaton Co., MI.2
Comment by DGB: In the 1920 census three of Arthur Mahon's grandchildren (Gerald, Lloyd and Diantha Palmatier) were listed as sons and daughter with the surname "Sherman". In the 1930 census Lloyd is listed as "adopted son". After daughter Nellie died in 1913, it is possible that her children were taken in and adopted by their grandparents. End of comment.
