     Holmes Harrison was born on 21 September 1866 at NJ.¹ He was the son of Stephen Decatur Harrison and Martha Rosalyn Holmes.¹ Holmes Harrison was baptized on 2 January 1867 at St. Paul's Church, Jersey City, Hudson Co., NJ.¹
