From an obituary in the "Idaho Chronicle": Service for lifetime Colfax resident Clyde J. Willsey was Monday at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial was at the Colfax Cemetery. Mr Willsey died Friday. He was 92. He graduated in 1926 from Colfax High School and married Freda Repp in 1931 in Colfax. Mr Willsey operated a farm about five miles east of Colfax for many years. He semi-retired in the early 1970s and moved to Colfax in 1996. He was a charter member of the North-South Palouse Grange and was a member of the Whitman County Weed Control Board and First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jack Willsey of Tacoma; a daughter, Carol LaVerne of Colfax, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.4
