Howard, circa 1921.¹ Sidney Frazer Charnock died on 13 October 1973 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 78.¹

     Comment by DGB: Dr. Druse hypothesized that Amos and David were brothers, first, by their residence close to each other in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania in 1820 and, second, by David's son William claiming his father was born in VT (on the 1880 census). David's daughter Emily and son Elijah also state on the 1880 census that their father was born in VT.
     In addition there was a Stephen Ball in Tunkhannock along with David for the 1810 census that might also have been a brother; Amos did not arrive until late 1810 or early 1811. Nothing more is known about that Stephen Ball. End of Comment.
