     Sarah Rice was born on 23 January 1821 at Somerset, Windham Co., VT.¹ She was the daughter of Hazelton Rice and Rhoda Stone.¹ Sarah Rice married James M. Alger, son of Samuel Alger and Joanna Estes, on 2 January 1847.¹ Sarah Rice died on 15 July 1904 at Rochdale, Worcester Co., MA, at age 83.² She was buried on 18 July 1904 at Auburn, Worcester Co., MA.²

     Alonzo Hiram Rice was born on 20 August 1840 at Andover, Windsor Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Hiram Watkins Rice and Maria Chase.¹ Alonzo Hiram Rice married Minerva Orette Hazen on 2 July 1859 at Chester, Windsor Co., VT.¹ Alonzo Hiram Rice died on 16 January 1864 at age 23.¹ He was buried at Village Cemetery, Grafton, Windham Co., VT.¹
     He was in the military circa 1864 serving with Company D, 9th Regiment, V.V.M.¹

     Sophronia Melina Rice was born circa 1842 at VT.² She was the daughter of Hiram Watkins Rice and Maria Chase.¹

     Henrietta Snow was born on 20 March 1834 at Somerset, Windham Co., VT.¹ She was the daughter of Levi Snow and Nancy Rice.¹ Henrietta Snow married Freeland Hemphill, son of Susanna (????), on 21 December 1857.¹ Henrietta Snow married Asa Pratt circa 1882.² Henrietta Snow died on 8 October 1904 at South Acworth, Sullivan Co., NH, at age 70.¹

     Dewitt Clinton Snow was born on 17 May 1850 at Somerset, Windham Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Levi Snow and Nancy Rice.¹ Dewitt Clinton Snow married Mary Johnson, daughter of Abel S. Johnson and Clarissa (????), on 9 October 1875.¹ Dewitt Clinton Snow married Myrtle L. Hosley on 3 July 1882.¹ Dewitt Clinton Snow died on 23 June 1909 at Woodstock, Windsor Co., VT, at age 59.¹

     Julian J. Snow was born on 30 June 1852 at West Dover, Windham Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Levi Snow and Nancy Rice.¹ Julian J. Snow married Alice F. Rice, daughter of Chester Rice and Mary E. Negus, on 3 December 1878.¹ Julian J. Snow married Helen E. Rice, daughter of Chester Rice and Mary E. Negus, on 10 October 1901.¹ Julian J. Snow died on 13 February 1927 at West Dover, Windham Co., VT, at age 74.¹

     Alexander Hamilton Pike was born on 12 February 1810 at Somerset, Windham Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Jotham Pike and Hannah Goodell.¹ Alexander Hamilton Pike married Elvira Rice, daughter of Ephraim Rice and Virtue Johnson, on 11 December 1834 at Somerset, Windham Co., VT.¹ Alexander Hamilton Pike married Mary Elizabeth Ballard on 4 July 1844.² Alexander Hamilton Pike died on 9 June 1902 at age 92.¹

     Philetus Freeman Pike was born on 29 October 1835 at Somerset, Windham Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Alexander Hamilton Pike and Elvira Rice.¹ Philetus Freeman Pike died on 29 April 1839 at age 3; (some sources say Philetus died a few days before his mother's death, which was 16 Jan 1844.)¹ He was buried at Pike Hollow Cemetery, Stratton, Windham Co., VT.¹
