     Zephaniah M. Ball was born on 12 February 1841 at Waveland, Montgomery Co., IN.¹ He was the son of Solomon Ball and Lucetta Banks Crane.¹ Zephaniah M. Ball married Louisa L. Smock, daughter of Cornelius Smock and Elizabeth Adams, in March 1869 at Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co., IN.¹ Zephaniah M. Ball died on 16 February 1927 at National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, Danville, Vermilion Co., IN, at age 86.¹ He was buried at Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton, VA.²

     Frederick Solomon Ball was born on 25 November 1866 at Savannah, Andrew Co., MO.¹ He was the son of Elihu Crane Ball and Elizabeth F. Moore.² Frederick Solomon Ball married Vilona Mae Cutler, daughter of William Judson Cutler and Mary Jane Jury, circa 1902.^3,4 Frederick Solomon Ball died on 14 November 1918 at Ness City, Ness Co., KS, at age 51.¹ He was buried at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City, Scott Co., KS.³

     Della F. Ball was born on 26 July 1869 at Andrew Co., MO.¹ She was the daughter of Elihu Crane Ball and Elizabeth F. Moore.¹ Della F. Ball married John H. Liston circa 1887.² Della F. Ball died on 17 October 1952 at Helena, Lewis & Clark Co., MT, at age 83.³ She was buried at Forestvale Cemetery, Helena, Lewis & Clark Co., MT.⁴

Moore.¹ Jessie Nora Ball married Casper Wilson Hogsett, son of John Wilson Hogsett and Rebecca Ann Pogue, on 24 December 1892.^3,4 Jessie Nora Ball and Casper Wilson Hogsett were divorced circa 1905.³ Jessie Nora Ball married Harry Jerald Cranston on 10 December 1907.^3,4 Jessie Nora Ball married Isaac R. Ray on 27 March 1929 at Wakeeny, Trego Co., KS.⁵ Jessie Nora Ball and Isaac R. Ray were divorced on 7 November 1935.⁵ Jessie Nora Ball died on 8 November 1961 at Hays, Ellis Co., KS, at age 91.² She was buried at Ness City Cemetery, Ness City, Ness Co., KS.⁴
