Phyllis was very active in the Presbyterian Church of Three Rivers and Schoolcraft, serving as Deacon for 3 years, and sang in the choir for 26 years. She also was a member of the Friendship Circle and the Presbyterian Women's Association, Michigan first Grandmothers Club, Order of the Eastern Star, Three Rivers #210 of which she was past Matron, and a member of the S. W. Michigan Association of O.E.S. Mrs. Larkin was an avid power lifter. She was Senior Women's Nation al Champion for 1989 and 1990 Amateur Drug free Power Lifting Associaion, and the 1991 World Champion age 75-79. Her record still stands today. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Larkin in 1972; three sisters, Dorothy Ripke and Marjorie Brown, Marie Hallock; one brother-in-law, Elgin and LaWave Larkin; one nephew, Pat Doherty. She is survived by her loving family, son, Donald H. (Jerri) Larkin of Moorepark, MI; eight grandchildren, Rex, Charlie and Todd Larkin, Heather (Chad) Muffley, Christi (Brian) Young, Sunny (Michael) Mercie, John and Bryan Mattheis; seven great-grandchildren, Amber Marie Larkin, Kylie Noelle Larkin, Theresa and Madison Larkin, Ryan, Cole and Evan Mercie; two nephews, Art Ripke and Tom Brown.
