Allen B. Waterman1
M, #72240, b. 3 October 1852, d. 11 May 1929
Allen B. Waterman was born on 3 October 1852 at Clearfield, WI.1 He was the son of Judson Adoniram Waterman and Caroline Rebecca Ball.1 Allen B. Waterman married Bertha L. Cline, daughter of Socrates Cline and Elizabeth A. Steele, on 20 January 1905 at Necedah, Juneau Co., WI.1 Allen B. Waterman died on 11 May 1929 at Orange, Juneau Co., WI, at age 76.1 He was buried on 14 May 1929 at New Lisbon City Cemetery, New Lisbon, Juneau Co., WI.1
From an obituary in the "New Lisbon Times": Allen B. Waterman died at his farm home in town of Orange, this county, on May 11, 1929. He was born in the town of Clearfield Oct. 3, 1852 and with the exception of five years spent in Kansas, where he was employed in railroad construction work, his life was spent in Wisconsin. Mr. Waterman for ten years worked as a foreman, and as superintendent of the Goodyear Lumber Co.'s logging operations in northern Wisconsin for sixteen years, afterwards logging for himself for two years. Of late he had been living on his farm. On January 20, 1905, Miss Bertha Cline of Necedah was married to Mr. Waterman. She, with their son Charles, and the latter's wife, survive him. Mr. Waterman was the last of the original Waterman families who were pioneers in this section. He had many friends who will grieve with the family over his demise. Burial was in the New Lisbon Cemetery.1
