Wade on 24 August 1940 at Vernon Center, Oneida Co., NY.¹ Beatrice Lawton died on 29 June 2010 at Gloversville, Fulton Co., NY, at age 94.¹
     As of 24 August 1940,her married name was Wade. From an obituary: Beatrice E. Wade, 94, of Rome N.Y., died June 29, 2010 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, following a short illness. She was born in Steuben County on November 22, 1915, the daughter of the late Harry and Edith Lawton. She was a graduate of Holland Patent High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Rome and New London, NY. She was a member of the Golden Years, and a past Noble Grand of the Queen Ester Rebecca Lodge. Her husband Allen 'Buster' Wade, whom she married August 24, 1940, died in 1970. Survivors include her son, Allen (Valerie) Wade of Gloversville; three daughters, Arlene (Clifford) Hotaling of Rochester, Patricia Boyson Murphy of Northville and Christine (Ron) Szakacs of Rochester; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Clifford Lawton, and her sister, Marion Jones.¹

     Bruce Lawton was born on 13 February 1943 at Rome, Oneida Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Clifford H. Lawton and Eleanor Grant.¹ Bruce Lawton died on 7 December 2009 at Oneida, Madison Co., NY, at age 66.¹ He was buried at West Verona Cemetery, Verona, Oneida Co., NY.¹
     He served in U.S. Air Force 1961-1965. He delivered Oneida Daily Dispatch until illness forced him to stop. He was an owner and trainer of Standard Bred horses at Vernon Downs.¹

     Clifford H. Lawton was born on 1 August 1919 at Rome, Oneida Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Harold Powell Lawton and Edith May Carrier.¹ Clifford H. Lawton married Eleanor Grant on 24 August 1940 at Vernon Center, Oneida Co., NY.¹ Clifford H. Lawton died on 6 April 1995 at Oneida, Madison Co., NY, at age 75.¹ He was buried at West Verona Cemetery, Verona, Oneida Co., NY.¹

Carrier and Lucy Demarias Myers, on 27 July 1905.¹ Harold Powell Lawton died on 30 December 1948; killed in an auto accident.¹ He was buried at Townsend Cemetery, Stittville, Oneida Co., NY.¹
