     Josiah Hayden was born on 13 January 1763 at Sudbury, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of Thomas Hayden and Mary Ball.¹ Josiah Hayden married Mary Patch, daughter of Thomas Patch and Molly Upton, on 19 April 1797 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.³ Josiah Hayden died on 23 February 1816 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 53.¹ He was buried at North Cemetery, Hillsborough Co., NH.⁴
     Joisah's father died while he was young and he committed to the care of his uncle, Samuel Hayden of Hollis, and came to Hollis to reside with him when only about four or five years old. Josiah succeeded to the hometsead, engaging in agricultural pursuits. He was a prosperous and successful farmer with other products and raised hops to some extent.¹

     Bezaleel Hayden was born on 16 July 1765 at Sudbury, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hayden and Mary Ball.² Bezaleel Hayden died on 22 September 1827 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 62.³
     Bezaleel Hayden also went by the name of Zely.⁴ Upon the death of his father circa 1768, Bezaleel Hayden and his brother David were sent to live with their uncle Daniel Hayden in Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴

     Mary Patch was born on 1 March 1773 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Patch and Molly Upton.² Mary Patch married Josiah Hayden, son of Thomas Hayden and Mary Ball, on 19 April 1797 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.³ Mary Patch died on 17 August 1850 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 77.¹ She was buried at North Cemetery, Hillsborough Co., NH.²
     As of 19 April 1797,her married name was Hayden.

     Mary Hayden was born on 26 April 1798 at NH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Mary Hayden married Daniel Walker, son of Daniel Walker and Patience (????), circa 1818.¹ Mary Hayden died on 19 April 1871 at age 72.¹
     As of circa 1818,her married name was Walker.

     Samuel Hayden was born on 13 March 1800 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.² He was the son of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Samuel Hayden married Harriet Needham on 31 December 1830.¹ Samuel Hayden died on 25 March 1880 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 80.¹ He was buried at North Cemetery, Hillsborough Co., NH.³

     Lydia Hayden was born on 15 January 1802 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.² She was the daughter of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Lydia Hayden died on 8 October 1849 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 47.^3,2

     Josiah Hayden was born on 10 October 1803 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 He was the son of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Josiah Hayden married Submit Swallow, daughter of Sampson Swallow and Ruth Chapman, on 8 October 1840.¹ Josiah Hayden married Mahala Martha Millard on 24 November 1857.¹ Josiah Hayden died on 10 April 1868 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 64.^1,2 He was buried at North Cemetery, Hillsborough Co., NH.²

     Sarah Hayden was born on 11 June 1805.¹ She was the daughter of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Sarah Hayden married Daniel Shedd in 1836.² Sarah Hayden died on 28 March 1876 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 70.²
     As of 1836,her married name was Shedd.²

     Thomas Walker Hayden was born on 30 May 1807.² He was the son of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.² Thomas Walker Hayden married Julia Ann Peacock in 1837.² Thomas Walker Hayden died on 21 September 1849 at age 42.²

     Daniel Hayden was born on 28 June 1809 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 He was the son of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Daniel Hayden married Hannah Estabrook, daughter of Joseph Estabrook and Sallie Conant, on 13 March 1851 at Westminster, Worcester Co., MA.³ Daniel Hayden died on 4 July 1896 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 87.⁴ He was buried at Maplewood Cemetery, Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.⁵

     Willard Hayden was born on 9 April 1812 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.² He was the son of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Willard Hayden married Phebe S. Duncklee on 24 April 1845.² Willard Hayden died on 21 March 1881 at Amherst, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 68.²

     Susan Hayden was born on 9 September 1814.¹ She was the daughter of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch.¹ Susan Hayden married Abel Colburn, son of Timothy Colburn and Rebecca Ball, on 15 November 1837.² Susan Hayden died on 7 May 1868 at age 53.¹ She was buried at East Cemetery, Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.³
     As of 1841,her married name was Colburn.¹

     Daniel Walker was born circa 1791.² He was the son of Daniel Walker and Patience (????)² Daniel Walker married Mary Hayden, daughter of Josiah Hayden and Mary Patch, circa 1818.¹ Daniel Walker died on 28 November 1843 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.²

     Mary Ann Walker was born on 11 January 1819 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of Daniel Walker and Mary Hayden.¹

     Susan Mariah Walker was born on 26 April 1820 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of Daniel Walker and Mary Hayden.¹ Susan Mariah Walker married Emery Bemis, son of Elijah Bemis and Sally (????), on 21 December 1841 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.³ Susan Mariah Walker died on 12 May 1870 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 50.⁴

     Sarah Jane Walker was born on 19 November 1821 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of Daniel Walker and Mary Hayden.¹

     Samuel Franklin Hayden was born on 8 February 1833 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 He was the son of Samuel Hayden and Harriet Needham.¹ Samuel Franklin Hayden married Sarah Melissa Rideout, daughter of Evenezer Rideout and Aliva Fisk, on 11 September 1855 at Nashua, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 Samuel Franklin Hayden died on 26 September 1925 at age 92.¹ He was buried at North Cemetery, Hillsborough Co., NH.²
     Samuel Franklin Hayden was in the Fifteenth New Hampshire Regiment, and was at the siege of Port Hudson. The 15th New Hampshire Regiment went to camp Thursday, October 2, 1862 and the company was mustered in October 9, 1862. The company chose the non-commissioned officers November 1, 1862.¹

     Emily Hayden was born on 19 July 1836.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Hayden and Harriet Needham.¹ Emily Hayden married Eben J. Rideout on 11 September 1856.¹
