     Rev. Pliny H. Fisk was born in December 1854 at Sharon, Windsor Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Joseph M. Fisk and Phoebe M. (????)¹ Rev. Pliny H. Fisk married Charlotte Eleanor Scoville, daughter of Charles Scoville and Julia Ann Ball, on 2 June 1893 at MN.² Rev. Pliny H. Fisk died in 1948.²

     Lawrence Scoville Fisk was born on 10 August 1899 at Edgerton, Pipestone Co., MN.¹ He was the son of Rev. Pliny H. Fisk and Charlotte Eleanor Scoville.¹ Lawrence Scoville Fisk died in August 1967 at New York, New York Co., NY.¹

     John Xavier Luther was born on 17 March 1871 at Carrolltown, Cambria Co., PA.¹ He married Laura Grace Scoville, daughter of Charles Scoville and Julia Ann Ball, on 4 October 1899 at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN.¹ John Xavier Luther died on 4 February 1955 at Albert Lea, Freeborn Co., MN, at age 83.¹

     Ansel Epenetus Gilmore was born on 4 October 1875 at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN.¹ He was the son of Orville S. Gilmore and Jennie E. Leonard.¹ Ansel Epenetus Gilmore married Bertha Louisa Scoville, daughter of Charles Scoville and Julia Ann Ball, on 4 September 1907 at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN.^1,2 Ansel Epenetus Gilmore died on 15 February 1948 at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN, at age 72.¹
     From and obituary in the "alden Advance": Ansel Gilmore, civic leader and a pioneer merchant of Freeborn died at his home there Sunday after a few weeks illness. He was 72 years old. The Gilmore family was among the pioneers honorer last Tuesday night by the Albert Lea Chanber of Commerce during its Pioneer Day dinner. Mr. Gilmore was born October 4, 1875 the son of Orville and Jennie Gilmore, who made their way westward from New England to be among the early settlers of Freeborn County.
     When he was 21, Mr. Gilmore became a partner with his father, in O. S. Gilmore and Sons, one of the oldest mercantile establishments in the county and which still bears the family name. Hew attended Freeborn schools and Parks College in Winnebago. About the time of World War I he was one of the organizers and a charter member of the Retailers Commercial Union; he organized and published the only newspaper ever in the village of Freeborn, the "Freeborn Dispatch", an outgrowth of a store publication. the newspaper is no longer printed.
     An early member of the Methodist Church in Freeborn, he joined the Congregational Church when the two were merged. He was a deacon at the time of his death. Mr. Gilmore was married on September 4, 1907 to Bertha Scoville who survives him. Surviving children are Gordon, now assistant to the vice-president of TransWorld Airlines in NY; Bennett who operates the Gilmore Store in Freeborn; and Mrs. William Howser of Salem OR. A third son, Lt. Donald was killed on August 13, 1944, while leading an Eighth Air Force fighter mission over France. Mr. Gilmore is also survived by one brother, Otis of freeborn and one sister Mrs. Charles Morris of Brainerd and several grandchildren.
     Mr. Gilmore had not been active for the last few years following a partial stroke. He recovered from this sufficiently, however, to travel and to advise on policy matters of business.³

     Bennett Gilmore was born on 5 October 1911.¹ He was the son of Ansel Epenetus Gilmore and Bertha Louisa Scoville.¹ Bennett Gilmore married Alice Norton.¹ Bennett Gilmore died in July 1985 at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN, at age 73.¹

     Jennie Louisa Gilmore was born on 26 November 1917.¹ She was the daughter of Ansel Epenetus Gilmore and Bertha Louisa Scoville.¹ Jennie Louisa Gilmore married William Purdie Howser on 18 May 1942 at San Diego, San Diego Co., CA.¹ Jennie Louisa Gilmore died on 9 May 2004 at age 86.² She was buried at Stipp Memorial Cemetery, Salem, Marion Co., OR.²
     As of 18 May 1942,her married name was Howser.¹

     George M. Miller was born in June 1855 at WI.² He married Abbie Louisa Scoville, daughter of David Adkins Scoville and Louisa J. Ball, on 14 March 1877.³ George M. Miller died in 1930.¹ He was buried at San Benito, Cameron Co., TX.⁴

     Gertrude Constance Miller was born on 17 February 1884 at MN; had a twin that died young.^2,3 She was the daughter of George M. Miller and Abbie Louisa Scoville.¹ Gertrude Constance Miller married Otis Karl Gilmore, son of Orville S. Gilmore and Jennie E. Leonard, on 1 September 1909 at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN.² Gertrude Constance Miller died on 8 June 1963 at age 79.³ She was buried at Freeborn, Freeborn Co., MN.²

     Comment by DGB: The Freeborn MN cemetery book has her listed as Marion Judge, but her name at the time of her marriage to Allan Scoville apparently was Marion Showalter. It may be that she was previously married to a Mr. Showalter. End of comment. As of circa 1895,her married name was Scoville.

     Ethelmae Dawn Severson was born on 4 August 1907.¹ She married Gordon Leonard Gilmore, son of Ansel Epenetus Gilmore and Bertha Louisa Scoville, on 31 July 1928.¹
