Carter, daughter of Luke Carter and Lucy Roys, on 14 November 1860.³ Osgood Towns Hadley married Sarah Naomi Ball, daughter of James Ball and Naomi Kendall, on 22 September 1865.³ Osgood Towns Hadley married Lucy H. Brown, daughter of Lewis Brown and Persis Kendall, on 25 November 1868.³ Osgood Towns Hadley died on 5 October 1914 at Southborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 76.^1,2 He was buried at Southborough Rural Cemetery, Southborough, Worcester Co., MA.²

     Naomi Mehitable Ball was born on 16 April 1836 at Hollis, Hillsborough Co., NH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abel Ball and Sarah Reed French.¹ Naomi Mehitable Ball married Joel French Bailey, son of Leonard Bailey and Mary French, on 27 November 1859.³ Naomi Mehitable Ball died on 31 December 1913 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 77.⁴
     As of 27 November 1859,her married name was Bailey.³

     Harriett Crabtree was born on 13 December 1818 at ME.¹ She was the daughter of Lemuel Weeks Crabtree and Elizabeth Littlefield.¹ Harriett Crabtree married Henry Ball, son of Samuel Ball and Paulina Gordon, on 14 April 1846 at Hancock, Hancock Co., ME.¹ Harriett Crabtree died on 14 June 1901 at age 82.¹
     As of 14 April 1846,her married name was Ball.¹ Sometime about 1862 Henry Ball and Harriett Crabtree adopted their nephew Asa Henry Gordon who thereafter went by the name of Henry Asa Ball.²

     Henry Asa Gordon was born on 7 February 1849 at Franklin, Hancock Co., ME.^2,1 He was the son of Asa Dyer Gordon and Lydia Dyer Ball.³ Henry Asa Gordon married Mary Brown Patrequin, daughter of Levi Augustus Patrequin and Martha James Marble, on 19 May 1878 at Fall River, Bristol Co., MA; by this time he was known as "Henry Asa Ball", however his marriage record lists parents as Henry and Harriet.^1,4 Henry Asa Gordon died on 24 January 1920 at Hancock, Hancock Co., ME, at age 70.¹ He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Hancock, Hancock Co., ME.¹
     As of say 1862, Henry Asa Gordon was also known as Henry Asa Ball listed in his uncle Henry Ball's will as "...my son Henry Asa Ball, adopted..."¹

     Margaret G. McFarland was born circa 1830 at ME.² She married Benjamin Franklin Ball, son of Samuel Ball and Paulina Gordon, on 2 November 1850 at Hancock, Hancock Co., ME.³ Margaret G. McFarland died on 20 October 1860.⁴ She was buried at Pine Tree Cemetery, Hancock, Hancock Co., ME.⁴
