     Joseph Peck was born on 27 November 1758 at East Orange, Essex Co., NJ.² He was the son of John Peck and Elizabeth Dodd.¹ Joseph Peck married Mary Hedden, daughter of Jonathan Dodd Hedden and Phebe Canfield, circa 1779.² Joseph Peck died on 22 May 1835 at East Orange, Essex Co., NJ, at age 76.²

     Aaron Peck was born on 9 April 1771 at East Orange, Essex Co., NJ.² He was the son of John Peck and Mary Harrison.¹ Aaron Peck married Esther Canfield circa 1791.² Aaron Peck died in 1793.²

     Comment by DGB: It is said that Simon Searing's will refers to Thomas Ball as his 'Brother-in-Law'. Some have interpreted this to mean that Alse was Thomas's sister. Since she is not mentioned in any other document reviewed, considering that Simon's son Simeon married Thomas Ball's daugher Apphia Ball, it is more likely that in the early 1700's, a man might call his son's father-in-law a brother-in-law. This leaves Alse without known parents. End of comment. Her married name was Searing.

     Daniel Dodd was born circa 1649 at Branford, New Haven Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Daniel Dodd and Mary Wheeler.¹ Daniel Dodd married Phoebe Brown.¹ Daniel Dodd died in 1710 at Essex Co., NJ.¹

     Moses Morehouse married Mary L. Bacorn in 1832.¹

     Mary L. Bacorn was born circa 1810.¹ She married Moses Morehouse in 1832.¹ Mary L. Bacorn died in 1867.¹
     Her parents were probably Aaron Bacorn and Maria Yaty, who were married in the Baptist Church of Newark (now Peddle Memorial Church) by the Reverend Peter Thurston on March 4, 1809. Mary's farther was probably a shoemaker, and sometime in the next ten years they moved westward to the newly incorporated town of Livingston. There Mary married Moses P. Morehouse, a young man from that area. They were married by the Reverend John Watson at the Northfield Baptist Church of Livingston. Their marriage is not recorded in the church records; it is found in the Rev. Watson's personal record of marriages he performed. One assumes that, like Mary's parents, they were not members of that church. Seven years later with their three small children, they moved to Newark, where two more children were born. Mary raised her family there and lived to see grandchildren.¹ As of 1832,her married name was Morehouse.

     Warren S. Baldwin was born on 7 June 1812.¹ He was the son of Samuel A. Baldwin and Mary Ball.¹ Warren S. Baldwin married Elizabeth Wilde on 16 December 1841.¹ Warren S. Baldwin died on 20 August 1873 at Bloomfield, Essex Co., NJ, at age 61.¹

     Elizabeth Wilde was born on 17 March 1820.¹ She married Warren S. Baldwin, son of Samuel A. Baldwin and Mary Ball, on 16 December 1841.¹ Elizabeth Wilde died on 19 April 1894 at age 74.¹
     As of 16 December 1841,her married name was Baldwin.

     John William R. Ball was born circa 1851 at NJ.² He was the son of John Henderson Ball and Abigail Caroline Bond.¹

     George M. Ehrgott was born circa 1907 at NJ.² He was the son of George M. Ehrgott and Mildred Brown.²

     William Abram Ball was born on 30 July 1877.¹ He was the son of Abraham Ball and Anna Maria Delaney.¹ William Abram Ball married Cecelia G. White, daughter of Patrick White and Maria Doughney, on 22 October 1919.¹ William Abram Ball died on 30 July 1931 at age 54.¹

     William Ball was born on 12 January 1805 at NJ.^2,3 He was the son of William Ball and Phebe Hatfield.¹ William Ball married Harriet Newell Taylor, daughter of Nancy (????).²

     Susan Stewart Ball was born on 16 December 1802.¹ She was the daughter of William Ball and Phebe Hatfield.² Susan Stewart Ball married George Compton.² Susan Stewart Ball died in 1899.¹
