Her married name was Yurksza.3 From an obituary in the "Times Leader": Elizabeth "Libby" Mina Yurksza, 89, formerly of Shupp Hill, Tunkhannock, died Friday evening at Beverly Health Care, Tunkhannock, where she had been a guest of four years. She was the widow of the late Andrew Yurksza, who died July 25, 1968. She was born in Tunkhannock, a daughter of the late Ross and Martha (Shiffer) Ball. She was employed at the Prince Hotel in Tunkhannock, and was well-known for her coconut cream pie. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School, class of 1934. She served as Republican Committee Woman for Tunkhannock Township for many years and also served on the Tunkhannock Township Board of Elections. She was a member of the Pa. Voters Hall of Fame for over 50 years of continuous voting. She enjoyed embroidery and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ivan Ball. Surviving are six daughters, Beverly Marlatt and husband, Henry, Tunkhannock; Andrea Robinson and husband, Lefty, Laceyville; Martha Yurksza and Steve Brown, Vineland, N.J; Judy and Duke Bishop, Meshoppen; Karen Baker and husband Bud, and Ann Marie Stark and husband, Sparky, both of Tunkhannock; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.1
