     Louisa M. Davis was born circa 1821 at ME.¹ She was the daughter of Louisa (????)² Louisa M. Davis married George Russell Bryant, son of Stephen Otis Bryant and Sarah Kilton, on 25 January 1836 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.¹
     As of 25 January 1836,her married name was Bryant.

     James R. Jewett Bryant was born circa 1839 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.³ He was the son of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis.³ James R. Jewett Bryant married Emma D. Sawyer, daughter of Ebenezer Sawyer and Eliza Drisco, on 3 August 1867.³ James R. Jewett Bryant died before 1900.⁴
     During the Civil War, he was in the US Navy. During 1862 he was captured and imprisoned at Fort
Jackson.³

     Samuel Otis Bryant was born circa 1841 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.¹ He was the son of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis.¹ Samuel Otis Bryant married Carrie E Wade circa 1868.¹ Samuel Otis Bryant died on 3 June 1914 at Machiasport, Washington Co., ME.¹ He was buried at Church Hill Cemetery, Washington Co., ME.¹
     During the Civil War he served three years in Company C of the 6th Maine Volunteers.¹

     Eldridge Herman Bryant was born on 17 August 1843 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.¹ He was the son of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis.¹ Eldridge Herman Bryant married Sarah N. Barnard say 1878.^1,2 Eldridge Herman Bryant married Jeanette Allen, daughter of Jephemiah B. Allen and Catherine Wasco, circa 1885.¹ Eldridge Herman Bryant died in 1914.³ He was buried at Court Street Cemetery, Machias, Washington Co., ME.³
     At age 17 he joined Co. H of the 9th Maine Infantry Regiment and was sent to defend Washington DC. During the Civil War, he was in the US Army as a 2nd Lt. in Companies A & K of the 9th Maine Infantry Regiment. In 1863, he was awarded a medal for gallant and meritorious service in the seige of Sumnter. He mustered out in 1865, age 22.¹      Photo originally published in a book with the partial title of "The History of Machias."

     Almira Helen Bryant was born circa 1853 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.¹ She was the daughter of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis.¹ Almira Helen Bryant married Hiram F. Smith, son of Zealous Smith and Martha A. Davis, on 8 September 1867 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.²
     As of 8 September 1867,her married name was Smith.

     Rilda Celettie Bryant was born on 30 September 1862 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.¹ She was the daughter of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis.¹ Rilda Celettie Bryant married Harris Fenhason circa 1880.¹ Rilda Celettie Bryant married Roby Hillman Moore, son of John Moore and Elizabeth Fogg.¹ Rilda Celettie Bryant died in 1917 at Lubec, Washington Co., ME.¹
     As of circa 1880,her married name was Fenhason. Her married name was Moore.

     Norris Winfield Bryant was born circa 1855 at Machias, Washington Co., ME.¹ He was the son of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis.¹ Norris Winfield Bryant married Emma A. Monk, daughter of John Monk and Catherine Dougherty, on 20 March 1879 at Princeton, Washington Co., ME.¹

     Harris Fenhason was born circa 1859.¹ He married Rilda Celettie Bryant, daughter of George Russell Bryant and Louisa M. Davis, circa 1880.¹

     Eva L Bryant was born in April 1870 at Machiasport, Washington Co., ME.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Otis Bryant and Carrie E Wade.¹ Eva L Bryant died on 19 January 1887 at Machiasport, Washington Co., ME, at age 16.¹

     Ida Bryant was born at Machiasport, Washington Co., ME.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Otis Bryant and Carrie E Wade.¹ Ida Bryant died before 1904 at Machiasport, Washington Co., ME.¹
