She came to Vinton, Iowa, with her parents when eight years of age. here she has since resided and grown to womanhood, endearing herself to all alike, by her quiet and unassuming manner. March 24, 1891 she was united in marriage to Edwin H. Ball, eldest son of Jube Ball, of Taylor township. After a lingering illness, she passed away at her home in west Taylor, Saturday morning, October 21st, at ten minutes after nine o'clock, at the age of 20 years, 2 weeks and 5 days.¹
