     John S. Ball was born on 24 April 1838 at Freedom, Cattaraugus Co., NY.^1,2 He was the son of Alvin Ball and Eunice F. Selfridge.¹ John S. Ball married Louisa Eliza Higby, daughter of Harvey Higby and Eliza Ann Ainsworth, on 31 March 1864 at Winfield, DuPage Co., IL.³ John S. Ball died on 24 September 1896 at Austin, Cook Co., IL, at age 58.¹ He was buried on 27 September 1896 at East Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Kane Co., IL.^1,2
     He began military service on 11 August 1862 when he enlisted in Company B 124th Reg. Illinois Volunteers.      Theodore Timothy Ball was born on 7 September 1841 at Winfield, DuPage Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Alvin Ball and Eunice F. Selfridge.¹ Theodore Timothy Ball married Sarah Lyon on 27 February 1866 at Batavia, Kane Co., IL.² Theodore Timothy Ball died on 4 September 1923 at Springfield, Sarpy Co., NE, at age 81.¹ He was buried at Ball Cemetery, Springfield, Sarpy Co., NE.¹
     He began military service on 7 August 1862 at Batavia, Kane Co., IL, as a Private in Capt. Mann's Co., 124 Regiment, Illinois Infantry. From a Muster Record: 21 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, complexion light, blue eyes and brown hair.³

     Alfred Ball was born on 1 July 1849 at Winfield, DuPage Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Alvin Ball and Eunice F. Selfridge.¹ Alfred Ball died on 9 August 1850 at Winfield, DuPage Co., IL, at age 1.¹ He was buried at East Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Kane Co., IL.¹

     Katherine Lowe was born on 30 September 1897 at Providence, Providence Co., RI.^1,2 She married Harvey Monroe Ball, son of Samuel Walter Ball and Ellen Urwin, in 1919 at Bayridge, Kings Co., NY.¹ Katherine Lowe died on 17 April 1964 at Port Hueneme, Ventura Co., CA, at age 66.^3,2 She was buried at Santa Clara Cemetery, Ventura, Ventura Co., CA.¹
     As of 1919,her married name was Ball.¹

     Jack C. Anderson is the son of Chris Anderson and Bessie Armstrong.¹

     Vera Agnes Armstrong was born circa 1908 at Sarpy Co., NE.¹ She was the daughter of Roy Armstrong and Grace Lane.¹ Vera Agnes Armstrong died in 1992 at MI.¹

     Gerald William Armstrong was born on 19 February 1910 at Louisville, Cass Co., NE.^1,2 He was the son of Roy Armstrong and Grace Lane.¹ Gerald William Armstrong married Margaret Johanna Huff, daughter of (????) McCarville, on 21 February 1928 at Onawa, Monona Co., IA.¹ Gerald William Armstrong died on 29 April 1992 at Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 82.^1,2

     George Leroy Armstrong was born on 6 June 1913 at Omaha, Douglas Co., NE.^2,3 He was the son of Roy Armstrong and Grace Lane.¹ George Leroy Armstrong died on 12 June 1974 at Onawa, Monona Co., IA, at age 61.^1,3
     From an obituary: "George Leroy Armstrong was born June 6, 1913 in Omaha, Nebraska, and passed from this life in his home in Onawa on June 12, 1974. Death came at the age of 61 years and 6 days. He spent his early life in the Blencoe area. On December 1, 1934, he was united in marriage with Mabel Dinwiddie at LeMars, Iowa. To this union two children were born. He has made his home in Onawa for the past 37 years. George served as a mechanic for the John Deere company, at the time of his passing, he was employed by the Heisterkamp Equipment Company. During World War II he answered the call of our country and served in the United States Navy. George was a very active member of the First Christian Church of Onawa; having served on the church board as a deacon, then an elder, he taught classes in the Bible School, served as Bible School Superintendent and as a youth sponsor for a number of years. He served on the Onawa Fire Department for several years and was an active member of the David McNeill Post of the American Legion Number 129 in Onawa. Survivors include his wife, Mabel of Onawa and his one son, Dennis of St. Louis, Missouri."¹
