     Verda Metzger was born on 10 June 1902 at Springfield, Sarpy Co., NE.^1,2 She was the daughter of Ben Metzger and Emma May Ball.¹ Verda Metzger died on 19 February 1988 at age 85.² She was buried at Lincoln Memorial, Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE.¹
     As of circa 1925,her married name was Gerlach.¹ From an obituary: "Gerlach - Verda M. (Metzger), age 84 years, 6335 "O" Street, Lincoln, died Friday. Retired school principal and teacher is survived by sister Mrs. Howard (Aileen) Quig of Lincoln; brothers Herbert Metzger, Springfield, NE, Carl Metzger, Scott City, KS.      Eileen Metzger was born circa 1906 at Sarpy Co., NE.¹ She was the daughter of Ben Metzger and Emma May Ball.¹ Eileen Metzger died after 19 February 1988.¹

     Herbert Metzger was born on 7 May 1908 at Springfield, Sarpy Co., NE.^1,2 He was the son of Ben Metzger and Emma May Ball.¹ Herbert Metzger died on 23 January 1997 at age 88.²
     Herb served in the Army Air Force in WWII. He founded Metzger Electric after the war, He has served as mayor of Springfield, assistant scoutmaster and as member of the Masonic Lodge. American Legion and Springfield Boosters.¹

     Carl Metzger was the son of Ben Metzger and Emma May Ball.¹ Carl Metzger died after 19 February 1988 at Garden City, Finney Co., KS.¹

Randall, daughter of Isaac Randall and Rhoda Viele, circa 1837 at Warren Co., NY.¹ George Seneca Ball died in April 1893 at Warren Co., NY.² He was buried at Hartman Hill Cemetery, Warren Co., NY.³

     Henrietta Robertson married Aaron Ball Campfield, son of Robert Bond Campfield and Phebe Ball, on 13 November 1838.¹
