     Emma Adelaide Ball was born on 18 November 1851 at Perry, Pike Co., IL.^3,4 She was the daughter of Gideon Olin Ball and Delia Ann Kellogg.⁵ Emma Adelaide Ball married Henry Clay Maxwell on 23 October 1871 at Pike Co., IL.⁶ Emma Adelaide Ball married John J. T. Ball, son of James Macalin Ball and Mary Jane (????), after 1880.¹ Emma Adelaide Ball died on 21 May 1921 at Dunkirk, Chautauqua Co., NY, at age 69.^5,7 She was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, Chautauqua Co., NY.⁸
