     From an obituary in the "Seattle Times" an unknown date : Centralia, Wednesday, Dec. 14. Dana L. Bean, aged 83, an old resident of Centralia, died yesterday from a stroke of paralysis. He is survived by his wife and two children, G. W. Bean of Tacoma and Mrs. A. C. Seyerstend of Portland; a brother, L. C. Bean of Seattle, and another brother residing in Pennsylvania. Mr. Bean was a Civil War veteran, having served with the 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry from April, 1863, to July, 1865.³

     Comment by DGB: Given that Fidelia was likely short of age 15 at the birth of Electa Gilson and given that her husband, John, was 18 years older than her, I would wonder if at least Electa might be by an earlier wife. End of comment. As of 1829,her married name was Gilson.¹
