     Nena Evelyn Davis was born on 25 April 1861 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph Herrick Davis and Mary E. Forrest.^2,3 Nena Evelyn Davis married William H. H.      Comment by DGB: On several records dealing with her children, as well as her marriage to Corydon Ball, she is listed as Josephine Ayon for her maiden name. However, her death record lists her parents as Paul Fox and Eliza Gereau of Canada. End of comment. As of 14 August 1890,her married name was Ball.

     Benjamin Ball was born on 26 October 1783 at Cambridge, Middlesex Co., MA; age at death 85y 2m 26d appears to be off by one week; birthplace listed as Cambridge on son Charles' death record.¹ He was the son of Reuben Ball and Rebecca Winship.² Benjamin Ball married Abigail Brown on 11 April 1811 at Concord, Middlesex Co., MA; "Benjamin Jr."³ Benjamin Ball married Mary Rogers, daughter of Simon Rogers and Abigail (????), on 18 February 1822 at Acton, Middlesex Co., MA; also recorded at Concord MA 19 Feb 1822.^4,5 Benjamin Ball died on 14 January 1869 at Lowell, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 85.⁶
