     He was a Sgt. in the US Army serving in Vietnam.³

     Aaron Stivers was born on 10 August 1816 at Marcellus, Onondaga Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Randall Stivers and Phoebe Ball.¹ Aaron Stivers married Susan Louisa Karr circa 1847.¹ Aaron Stivers married Saphronia Cole on 5 August 1856.¹ Aaron Stivers died on 29 November 1893 at Afton, Union Co., IA, at age 77.¹
     He secured a college education and became a teacher. He was an auditor for Meigs Co. for many years and also a county surveyor. He made the first detailed and exact map of the county. He also went on the gold rush with his father and brothers.¹

     Aurie Jones was born on 10 April 1857 at OH.^1,3 She married Eli Bradley Ball, son of Nathan Ball and Mary Buell, on 5 October 1876 at Adams Co., IL.^1,4,5 Aurie Jones died on 2 February 1942 at age 84.³ She was buried at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE.³

     Jennie Electra Stivers was born on 9 February 1868 at Racine, Meigs Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Timothy Stanley Stivers and Julia Chamberlin Snow.¹ Jennie Electra Stivers married James David Campbell, son of James M. Campbell and Lucy Ellen Lewis, on 15 April 1890 at Bradley Co., TN.³ Jennie Electra Stivers died on 12 June 1942 at Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN, at age 74.² She was buried at McDonald Cemetery, Ooltewah, Hamilton Co., TN.⁴
     As of 15 April 1890,her married name was Campbell.

     George Stivers was born on 13 August 1814 at Marcellus, Onondaga Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Randall Stivers and Phoebe Ball.¹ George Stivers married Elizabeth Rice on 1 January 1839 at Orange, Meigs Co., OH.¹ George Stivers died on 4 January 1863 at Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., TN, at age 48; at the Battle of Stone River.¹
     He is said to have been a large and strong man, a miller by profession but engaged in various enterprises. In 1850 he went overland to the California gold rush, but returned to Pomeroy. Later lived in Carrollton, Ky. He raised a company in Meigs County for the Civil War'and served as Captain of Company K, 18th O.V.I., until mortally wounded at Battle of Stone River, Murfeesboro, TN, January 2, 1863. Interred on the battlefield by his request,
his remains were later returned to Veray, IN.¹

     Cyrene Stivers was born on 28 January 1819 at Meigs Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Randall Stivers and Phoebe Ball.¹ Cyrene Stivers married John Newell Allen, son of Barnabas Allen and Elizabeth Walton, on 20 November 1838 at Chester, Meigs Co., OH.¹ Cyrene Stivers died on 24 February 1863 at Middleport, Meigs Co., OH, at age 44.¹
     As of 20 November 1838,her married name was Allen.

     Randall Stivers was born on 4 April 1830 at Meigs Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Randall Stivers and Phoebe Ball.¹ Randall Stivers died in 1851 at Nevada Co., CA.¹
     He was 15 when the family moved to Lawrence and he assisted his father with the mail delivery between Portsmouth and Guandotte. He attended the academy in Ashland, Ky. Later he went with his father and brothers to California, dying of "congestion of the brain" before his 21st birthday at Nevada, California.¹

     Julia Caroline Stanley was born on 29 July 1817 at Marietta, Washington Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Stanley and Abigail Robbins.¹ Julia Caroline Stanley married Washington Stivers, son of Randall Stivers and Phoebe Ball, on 27 October 1836 at Chester, Meigs Co., OH.¹ Julia Caroline Stanley died on 1 September 1852 at Middleport, Meigs Co., OH, at age 35.¹ She was buried at Pomeroy, Meigs Co., OH.¹
     As of 27 October 1836,her married name was Stivers.

     John Milton Stivers was born on 25 May 1852 at Pomeroy, Meigs Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Washington Stivers and Julia Caroline Stanley.¹ John Milton Stivers married Ella Darst.¹ John Milton Stivers married Kate Gilbert.¹ John Milton Stivers died on 17 May 1931 at Greensboro, Guilford Co., NC, at age 78.¹
