     Phoebe Walker was born on 13 August 1834 at Ernestown, Addington Co., ON, Canada.^2,3 She married Solomon Ball, son of Philip Ball and Elizabeth Lee, circa 1850.¹ Phoebe Walker died on 4 October 1902 at Colebrook, ON, Canada, at age 68.⁴ She was buried at Moscow United, Camden, Kent Co., ON, Canada.¹
     As of circa 1850,her married name was Ball.¹ From an obituary in "The Napanee Beaver" on page 2 "Colebrook News": An old and respected resident of Colebrook west, in the person of Mrs. Solomon Ball, aged sixty-eight, passed peacefully away on Saturday morning. She was for many years a member of the Friends church. she is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter.⁴

     Nancy Jane Gregg was born on 4 August 1855 at Bruce Co., ON, Canada; Note: the 1901 census lists her birth date as 10 October 1855.^2,3 She was the daughter of John Gregg and Christianna Boyle.² Nancy Jane Gregg married David Wilson Hughes on 24 June 1875 at Vennachar, Lennox & Addington Co., ON, Canada.⁴ Nancy Jane Gregg married Frederick Philip Ball, son of Philip Ball and Elizabeth Lee, on 29 April 1886 at Abinger, Lennox & Addington Co., ON, Canada.⁵ Nancy Jane Gregg died on 6 November 1934 at Abinger, Lennox & Addington Co., ON, Canada, at age 79.² She was buried on 8 November 1934 at Vennachar, Lennox & Addington Co., ON, Canada.²

     He was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railway.⁵

     Dorothy L. Soper was born on 16 January 1911 at Elmira, Chemung Co., NY. She was the daughter of Leslie Rae Soper and Maude White. Dorothy L. Soper married Joseph C. Skinner. Dorothy L. Soper died on 25 September 1975 at Kirkwood, NY, at age 64.
     Her married name was Skinner.

     Susie Myrtle Smith was born on 13 May 1893 at Parham, Frontenac Co., ON, Canada.² She married Charles Stanley Ball, son of Charles Wesley Ball and Margaret Alport, on 15 May 1913 at Parham, Frontenac Co., ON, Canada.² Susie Myrtle Smith died on 29 December 1987 at Kingston, Frontenac Co., ON, Canada, at age 94.² She was buried at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Kingston, Frontenac Co., ON, Canada.³
     As of 15 May 1913,her married name was Ball.² From an obituary: Susie Myrtle Ball, 94, of Verona, who died recently following a 2 1/2 month illness, was buried at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. She was born at Parham, a daughter of the late Alpheus Smith and his wife Susie, but had been a Verona resident for some time. Mrs. Ball was a music teacher and had been a United Church organist for 35 years. She attended Portland Community Church at Hartington. Mrs. Ball, who was a 50-year member of the Rebekah Lodge and a pianist for that organization for nearly 20 years; a district president of the Parham Women's Institute and an associate member of the Murvale Women's Institute. She was also a member of the senior citizens club, the Sunshine Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mona Hodgson of Verona; a son Gordon Ball of Parham; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, C. Stanley Ball, and a son, Norvin Ball of Hamilton.      George Peters was born on 3 February 1837 at Ernestown, Lennox & Addington Co., ON, Canada.¹ He was the son of Joseph Peters and Rachel Ball.¹ George Peters married Sarah Ann Ball, daughter of Solomon Ball and Sarah Peters, circa 1858 at Frontenac Co., ON, Canada.¹ George Peters died on 8 August 1920 at age 83.¹

     Joseph Ball was the son of Benjamin Ball and Jerusha Woodbury.¹

     George H. Ball was born on 22 September 1796 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.^2,3 He was the son of Benjamin Gott Ball and Huldah Hatfield.⁴ George H. Ball was baptized on 2 June 1805 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.⁵ He married Sukey House.¹ George H. Ball and Eliza Ann P. Willson posted marriage intentions on 27 June 1842 at Palmer, Hampden Co., MA.⁶ George H. Ball married Mary Graves, daughter of Richard Graves, on 25 December 1851 at Palmer, Hampden Co., MA.⁷ George H. Ball died on 11 December 1853 at Palmer, Hampden Co., MA, at age 57.⁸
